Right. What I was saying is one should not tan for hours in hopes of curing it. I am a pale-skinned redhead, and so a sun solution would be absolutely out of the question for me.

I am also aware of the Vitamin D thing, so a little exposure without sunblock is a good thing. Just don't overdo it.

I fortunately do not suffer from acne anymore (finally!), but this has only come about in the past couple of months, so hopefully it sticks. I have suffered from a blemish or three since, but overall I am loving it. And yes, I gave up overly stressing my acne years ago, when I learned it was a losing battle for me. I never wanted to spend like, 2 hours a day washing my face. That's just superficially nuts. Of course it is still always slightly depressing to suffer from acne, even when you "let it go".
