If the salicylic acid is in your cleanser, toner and moisturizer, it would work much better. A combination of products with it in kills the most acne for me. It is much better than benzoyl peroxide anyhow. I take no internal medication for acne at all. Also, make sure to wash your face well with soap and water before using these products--it will help. However, sometimes experimentation must be done to find a proper product. A prescription topical like Cleocin-T might be very good as well. If you have a form of insurance and ask for the generic version, you can usually get it for under $20.00.
