Maybe it's psychological, but one of the things I blame my acne on is the frequencey of changing the sheets. I read that the bacteria that causes acne survives on your pillowcase. For awhile, I changed them everyday, but of course, this isn't always feasible, but I felt like it was making a difference.

If you sleep with your face on the pillow, then this could be a factor, because all of the oil and bacteria rub off onto the pillowcase. try a little experiment at home by changing your sheets more often

Excellent suggestion! I'd be curious to see the results of this experiment. Anyone else willing to give it a try?

Another thing to consider for those that may find it annoying to wash your pillow cases regularily is that as long as you are washing your face or showering before going to sleep, there really shouldn't be too much to worry about as far as getting your pillow case dirty. Any thoughts?
