Medicines may cure acne but it is temporary. Body chemisty has to change in order to beat acne. If the acne are too much you go for medication but it will not work for long time. It is purely temporary. So it is better to avoid medicines and go for natural remedies. Home remdies also work wonders in curing acne. Instead of exposing body to serious chemicals by way of medicines better resort to natural remedies

I agree that natural remedies are usually better than rx medications. I'm really against using drugs unless they are absolutely necessary, especially when there are inexpensive natural cures out there.

Natural remedies don't always work as you need them to, however. If you're a person with severe acne that has tried retail items and natural remedies and have had zero success, you'll eventually have to turn to prescription medication to avoid permanent scarring and things of that nature. Sometimes you need prescription medication to change your body's chemistry. Different things work for different people. What kind of natural remedies have you had success with?
