If you come across a person with severe acne dont comment them. Have pity on them. Feel lucky you are not so much suffering from acne. Try to console them positively. Invite them into public. Give some tips / suggestion to cure them.

A common belief is that stress is connected to acne so it's important to support those that suffer from it, for sure.

Personally, I don't think you should give suggestions to someone who suffers from acne unless you know them quite well. Otherwise, they feel embarassed. After all, most people who suffer from acne have tried alot of home cures & over the counter stuff...

Very true. There is nothing more annoying than unsolicited advice. If a person isn't asking you for help or advice, it's none of your business to intrude. I totally agree with you.

I HATE it when somebody tries to give me advice, especially because they don't have any idea of what I've tried and haven't. Plus it's just drawing more attention to my acne, which is what I don't want.
