Right when my younger cousin got into his teens, his face horribly broke out. Runs in our family, I guess. But he tried everything he could. Everything the dermatologist prescribed him, but nothing worked. So as he got older he got sick of all the effort he was putting in with no results. So he quit using everything. A few weeks after he stopped using all that stuff his face cleared up. Could it be that his face was just irritated from all of the medication? Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

One of my good friends had the same problem! He used alot of medications and nothing seemed to be working, he decided to give up and it cleared up! maybe the body was having different reactions to the meds than expected or something!

This is definitely rare. Any idea if he quit using everything altogether? Was he still using something when he washed his face?
