Default

hmm i don't think so - i've read somewhere that people with acne will breakout even more when exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time - i.e. when tanning.

Default Exposure to sunlight helps acne problem

Yes you shuld good exposure to sunlight. Sun actually kills the bacteria, and dries up the sebum oil that produces acne.

Post Vitamin D

can be absorbed from sunlight - maybe that's part of it? I have heard that straight tanning exacerbates acne, but my experience with sunscreen hasn't a good combination either - so it can be a loss-loss situation. I believe, if you have scars, tanning (excessive exposure to sunlight) also can darken the pigment of your scars too. Correct me if I am wrong.

Default Sunlight and acne

I think sunlight does help acne somewhat because it helps to dry the oils in your skin if that's the cause of your acne. I also think your skin just appears healthier after being exposed to a small amount of sunlight which gets the vitamin D going in your skin.
