I Have seem the problem to be very common in Europe. I always wondered is less exposure to sunlight a cause?

hmm i don't think so - i've read somewhere that people with acne will breakout even more when exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time - i.e. when tanning.

Yes you shuld good exposure to sunlight. Sun actually kills the bacteria, and dries up the sebum oil that produces acne.

can be absorbed from sunlight - maybe that's part of it? I have heard that straight tanning exacerbates acne, but my experience with sunscreen hasn't a good combination either - so it can be a loss-loss situation. I believe, if you have scars, tanning (excessive exposure to sunlight) also can darken the pigment of your scars too. Correct me if I am wrong.

I think sunlight does help acne somewhat because it helps to dry the oils in your skin if that's the cause of your acne. I also think your skin just appears healthier after being exposed to a small amount of sunlight which gets the vitamin D going in your skin.

yes,i agree with you it caused due to lack sufficient sunlight.usually it occurs in teagers and also in adults those who don't expose to light.
