have you ever had pimples that hurt?
i've had a couple where if i applied any sort of pressure on it, it would throb... then again i sucked it up and tried to squeeze it. usually it was beneath my skin and when it popped it was like a mini volcano :P |

I have had many painful pimples! They definitely are like mini volcano's! They hurt that much more when you try to squeeze them and nothing happens!

Hi I was told that you aren't supposed to put pressure on pimples. That could leave a blemish. You wouldn't want that. Your face is the first thing people see. I have had pimples that were sesitive to the touch before. I'm not sure why. I've heard all types of home remedies. My cousin swears by putting toothpaste on it. I would just leave it alone if I were you. Do you have a demertologist? If so give him/here a call and tell them what's up.
Hope this help ![]() |

I had a few cystic as a teenager. They are deep imbedded infections, and the inflammation can cause pain just by touch. I agree to see a derm about it. My derm would prescribe a cortisol cream for the inflammation, but asked if I had anything "social" going on - like the prom and said he would then administer a cortisol shot to bring it down quicker.

Haha those mini volcanoes are pretty bad. Some of my acne does hurt when touched. I got through it though. I just apply some proactiv stuff every night and they're fine.
I've heard of other stuff, like clean and clear. This stuff works as well. ![]() |

Yes, when they are really deep and infected they can be really painful! I used to try to pop those, relieving the pressure and draining them, they weren't painful anymore. However, you aren't supposed to do this! It can cause infection if you push bacteria in.
