Hi, my name is Liyana and I'm 26. I had been using Proactiv Solution for 6 yrs. It made my skin smooth and almost flawless. But NOW my skin looks horrible
![]() I have severe acne: 10 big zits on each cheek, 1 on the forehead and acne scars on my chin. This problem started a few mths ago when the drugstore I go to every mth stopped selling Proactiv. I shrugged it off and thought "That's ok maybe I'll try other brands". So I opted for L'oreal Hydrafresh. Within a few wks my skin developed rashes around my t-zone area so I stopped. My sister then recommended The Body Shop Tea Tree line. Within a mth my rashes turned worse and everytime I wash my face it felt like my skin was burning. At this point I grew desperate so I went online and found Exposed Skincare. I was impressed with the numerous positive reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Within a wk, my skin started breaking out pretty badly! All of a sudden my cheeks and chin are scattered with painful pimples. I sent Exposed an email complaining about this and they replied I should keep using it for 5 weeks. Well, I did. After 5 wks my complexion did not improve! I stopped using Exposed. So now I'm using St Ives Apricot Scrub Gentle and Oxy 5. It's only been a few days but my skin looks like its less irritated. My cheeks however still have those nasty giant zits but my chin has none which I'm happy to see. I honestly don't know what to do with my skin. As you can see I've been using different brands every mth only to my dismay aggravated my complexion further. It has affected my self-esteem to the point where I can't leave the house because I'm embarrassed! Can somebody plz help me. Should I stick to a regime for sensitive skin until my zits are healed? What products would you recommend to keep the redness and swelling down? |

At this point you need to seek doctor. And throw all those facial cleansers they might be the reason of having rashes..
