Post Vitamins

My doctor has mentioned Perricone's methods to me since I am at the stage of aging (getting wrinkles) but still managing to cling to my youth with whiteheads and pimples. One of the tips in his book, "Acne Prescription" has a list of certain vitamins that are supposed to help your skin. I looked on his online store and the vitamin package offered costs $140 alone for a month's supply. This isn't exactly how much I had in mind for budgeting for my skin care. Has anyone tried vitamin supplementation for their skin and does it work?

Default Msm

Vitamin A, vitamin e, vitamin c and zinc are mostly important vitamin for acne that often showing up as a deficiency. According to me, I would suggest natural sulpher (MSM) would be the best choice for you. And it really works.

I agree with juliet that Vitamin A, vitamin e, vitamin c and zinc are mostly important vitamin for acne. But taking them in natural form would be better.. So have more fruits and carrots in your diet

Default Eat salmon

Eat fish .. Especially Solomon.. They have lot of Omega-3 fats that primarily work through reducing inflammation in our bodies.

Yeah that seems like a much better idea than going to this guys personal store, a guy who wrote a book about it and is obviously just trying to make as much money as possible. Vitamins are vitamins.

Hi Juliet, Thanks for the reply. I've heard of sulphur products that you apply topically (e.g. Murad) - but not to ingest. Can you clarify? Thanks!

Yeah, I wouldn't buy the $140 vitamin care stuff. I just take vitamins and watch what I eat. Natural methods, such as eating foods with specific vitamins are often better than taking supplements.

Does that help? Just research foods that have a lot of vitamins that you want in them...
