Default Water?

I am 30 and just recently started breaking out again. Mostly on the sides of my face, near my scalp. A friend said that I should drink more water. Could this help? I have been drinking more water all month with no luck...

The reasons why you should drink water are many fold. Though I'm not sure about acne, I do know that it is very important to drink plenty of water every day. Otherwise it can lead to a whole host of condititions which will be much worse than a bit of acne.

Something else that will help hopefully more than water is cleaning your cell phone and home phone. Lots of oil and dirt accumulates on them and than your putting that up to your face along your hair.

Also make sure if your touching your head, wash your hands or try not to touch your face, I struggle with this too!

Basically, your friend is right. Intake of water can help to come over the problem of breakups. Water helps to keep your body hydrated and your skin clear, and it also plays an important role in transporting nutrients around the body.

I'm quite sure drinking water most definetly cannot do any harm. I'm not one hundred percent sure that it will help this problem. Have you recently changed your hair style? Maybe you have it pulled too tight.

While water intake may not help your acne directly, drinking lots of it provides your skin with more moisture which is healthy. As others have said, drinking lots of water is good for you regardless of what it may do for your acne.
