i have always had bad skin, now in my thirties, and after having two kids, i find i am still getting occasional breakouts on my back! i also always seem to have a few pimples/blackheads scattered...
with all of the benefits i have read about in regards to cleansing your body through a restricted diet, i wonder if anyone has had any success clearing up chronic acne this way? |

I have. When I changed my diet and cut out most of the super greasy foods, after about a month and a half I began to see significant improvement in my skin quality especially the persistent back acne I had been experiencing.

There are theories that the accumulated waste inside your body can cause problems such as acne. There is no real proof one way or the other. Some acne sufferers have has success with cleanses though, as others have already stated.

I already had to cut the bulk of greasy foods out of my diet anyway due to problems digesting them and getting the runs from them, but I still have acne. I wonder if this is what people were trying to tell me elsewhere about eating right? I actually hate donuts fried in grease because they taste bad and make me sick to my stomach. I eat more chicken than hamburgers and pork combined. I actually tried to avoid pork products first on a trial basis and then found out it was much better for eliminating stomach problems and the runs. With the small amount of greasy foods I do eat, I really don't think eliminating them would do me much good. Other factors may be involved as well--hormones, stress, and psioriatic arthritis. Yes, they have found a form of arthritis that actually causes breakouts. They usually find a drug that treats this inside and out for this type of arthritis. Just be aware that some foods can cause a little extra acne, but they may not be the entire source of the problem.

Cleansing helps with sugar cravings by retraining your body to eat better, more natural foods. By cutting out refined treats, and replacing them with whole fruits, a cleanse will bend your desire towards more nutritious fare. Unlike processed foods and sweet drinks, fruit packages its sugar with plenty of fiber. Getting fiber is the key to regulating your body and helping it remove toxins.

I think, I have shared it before that the acne problem is due to some problem in blood.
Try to purify your blood.Davisburg Gym Last edited by Aden; 01-14-2012 at 01:41 PM.. |
