So, I tried AcneFree because it was the in-store version (sort of) of Proactiv. I should have known better than to spend $30 on the kit! It did nothing but irritate my skin and cause more breakouts + rawness. Has anyone actually experienced good results with this? Those 3 step kits are just so time consuming and hardly ever worth it!

I've been using this for about 6 months and it seems to be working. I was able to find the kit at the local Wal Mart for about $17.00. I used to use Proactiv and it stopped working for me after a while--this stuff seems to do the trick.

I found with most acne products I have used in the past that at foirst at least it seems to make the problems worse. After a while though of continued use most have helped me imensly.I have thought about ordering Proactive and trying that for a while.Has anyone tried it and actually gotton the kind of results that they say you will?

I've tried AcneFree before, and it yielded absolutely no results. All the medication did was bleach my pillow white. I think the main medication used (Benzoyl peroxide) works well for others, but does absolutely nothing for me. A bit expensive for a face wash, pretty much an astringent you can buy anywhere, and medicated lotion. It also comes with the "Terminator" spot remover thing, but that didn't work very well either.

If you have a Costco or Sam's Club around you, they usually have the full kit at a discount. I've also seen it at your regular drug stores, like walgreens and CVS.

I like nairbmik's idea of looking at the product ingredients, might help cut through the marketing spin.
