It keeps the redness down and also removes the swelling if you do it for a couple of nights in a row it dissapears altogether.Youll be surprised if you try it I was.

a nice spot treatment is tea tree oil from the body shop. It's basically a natural antiseptic and can help get rid of the infection faster. It is also moisturizing so it minimizes scar appearance. Doesn't really do much to prevent pimples, though!

Default Clinique

If you want to spend a little money go online and order the Clinque Acne System. It has a spot treatment gel that you can use alone or with the system and it clears up and trouble spots within 2-4 days. If you follow it with a coverup that also has medication in it that also helps.

I use neutrogena (did I misspell that) It works really for me. You need to go to a demertologist and find out your skin type and what you need to use.

I have had more success with salycylic acid based treatments than benzoyl peroxide. However, my problem is more clogged pores and blackheads rather than infected-type pimples, and salicylic acid is an exfoliant so that makes sense.

I find the best product for zits is proactive stuff. The "bonus" stuff they give you on the commercial. I put it on at night, and my acne does disappear. I also know a few of my friends that do the same thing.
