It may not be the same for everyone but this stuff calles Clearasil Adult Care really burned my face and made my skin dry out. Has anyone else had this problem? What causes that to happen?

Is this product one of those circular, pad types? I also found that those types stung a little, but to be honest they never bothered me that badly.

You most likely just have sensitive skin. I'd recommend buying products made specifically for sensitive skin to avoid the burning sensation and drying out.

I have used alot of clearasil products in the past, as they are relatively cheap to purchase and i havent had a problem with them irritating my skin, but i havent found they help much either.

I have had similar experiences with Clearasil - helps for spot treatments, but doesn't make much difference. Anyone else just feel like NOTHING helps?!?!?

The most important thing, as I mentioned, is to use products designed for sensitive skin. This will be clearly marked on the packaging. Many people with sensitive skin have had some success using cleansers with tea tree oil as it provides moisture to the skin.

i tell you if you want nice looking skin look at you skin find out what makes up skin in the molecular level such as proteins and what not, and see what will help protect prevent and treat acne. aloe vera is one thing that i will always recomend it is the best, now it may turn your skin a little green but if you leave it on the skin in plant form it will in about 10 mins. turn your skin into a wrinkley mess lol but there is no better way to heal the skin then that little green plant right there.

I tried stuff for sensitive skin but found that I was better off using just higher quality over the counter items like Neutrogena or Biore. These don't burn my skin at all, unless I have an open acne spot, then it feels like a moment of lit match contact to the skin if I use a toner or astringent. The astringent usually burns worse. You also might want to use moisturizing and medicated face lotion which usually cools down the effect of using any of the before mentioned types of medication. (Benzoyl Peroxide actually has been rumored to make certain people's acne worse, which can be true as it can dry out the skin to an extreme. I actually have to use the 10% Benzoyl Peroxide solution for it to do anything significant to my acne though. Whereas the salicylic acid works at concentrations of 1 and 2% quite well for me).
