I wash my face with neutrogena for men daily wash. It works really good to get the bad oils out of my face. Does anyone else use this, or has anyone else had better results with something else?

I have learned through long trial and error that the less I do in washing, the better off I am. I use a gentle makeup remover to um, remove makeup and when not wearing makeup, find gently wiping face with rose water as toner on cotton pads is perfectly fine. Am allergic to soap so had to find an alternative. Not so sure that lots of cleanings products for acne and other stuff are not actually creating more problems....

I have been using clean and clear, or also Neutrogena. I really like both products, what else is good to try?

Frequent washing of the face and keeping it clean and soft does help. It is al th emore important to wash frequently when you stay out doors all day and have oily skin.

I can't say enough about Acne Free. It won't drain your wallet and as long as you eat sensibly (don't overdo the soda) and wash your face, it seems to work.

Try using a soft washcloth. It kind of acts as a soft, natural sloughing agent.

I know, I a female, but I find the cleansers with salicylic acid work the best. Also, multiple items clear more acne such as astringent, toners, and facial lotions. I used to use Bye Bye Blemish products as they worked great--but they have been pulled off the market. They had lemon and sulfur products in them. I guess they might have been pulled due to the second product. However, the drying lotion was excellent for curing large acne lumps--maybe not overnight but a few days and they were practically gone! If I can find a way to buy them again at a lower price, I would. However, the medications with salicylic acid are readily available almost do as good of a job. If you use Proactiv, you can replace it with these medications also. Proactive is just not the miracle cure they say it is and Neutrogena or Biore products are much cheaper and readily available at Walmart. Also, natural lemon might be a good aid in this process, but I don't think it will be the fastest method possible.
