Acne Treatment

If I have a particularly bad breakout, I use Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment, Vanishing Formula 0.75 oz (21 g). It is very reasonably priced (no more than $6). Anything else out there that works better? SOmetimes this stuff causes my skin to flake.
