Acne Treatment

I was just recently prescribed Tazorac, and wondering what the overall opinion was? I've read mixed reviews but most say it works well. And I am aware of the "initial breakout", but hopefully it won't last too long.

Tazorac didn't do jack for me.
I had severe cystic acne though.
