Take care when choosing cosmetics. Ideally when living in a tropical climate, cosmetics like foundation, blush and moisturiser should be oil-free. Choose products that do not promote the formation of blemishes or cause blocked pores. Choose skin products best-suited for your skin type. Remove your make-up before you go to sleep. Throw away old makeup that smells or looks different from when you first bought it.

It is definitely important to remove makeup before sleeping as leaving it on will clog your pores. Any suggestions for what types of make up to use and what types to avoid?

Good tips- use oil free foundation and always wash it off.
Also- look for a foundation that contains salicylic acid. That way it is on your skin all day to treat it. I think Almay makes one, among other companies. Bare Minerals is supposed to be good too and non-clogging but I haven't tried it. |
